Our overall goal of obtaining 85% of level 3 or above will be accomplished by the schoolwide implementation of SuccessMaker which will support us in reaching each annual goal.

By July 2011, 85 percent of all students taking the FCAT Reading test at Spring Lake Elementary will score at Level 3 or above.

By July 2011, 70 percent of all students taking the FCAT Reading test at Spring Lake Elementary School will make learning gains.

By July 2011, 70 percent of all students taking the FCAT Reading test at Spring Lake Elementary will make learning gains with the lowest 25% of students.

Narrative to Describe Major Steps to Meet Baseline Expectations in Writing Within Four Years:  
Our overall goal of obtaining 85% of level 3.5 or above will be accomplished by the increased participation in staff development trainings which will support the Fourth grade department. During preplanning all teachers will focus on scoring procedures. That focus will also be carried into the primary grades. A writing program will be utilized and implemented to improve student writing. Using the Write Score program will assist teachers in obtaining a more defined assessment of each student.
